A Trip to Italy

This month Brother Carl and Sister Rosemary Ballerino and Brother Tony and Sister Pat Salmeri traveled to Italy together with the Annunziatos and the Schachts. They have dreamed for years of visiting the country several of their grandparents immigrated from.
This spring the Ballerinos attended the conference in the Netherlands and met two Italians, Joseph and Giacomo, who asked them to visit in Italy because they knew other Christians who are seeking more of the Lord. Since our brothers and sisters have been there, they have made some amazing connections.

Brother Carl wrote, “Giovanni, the brother in the photo below, pastors a small local church. He is a very sweet, gregarious man, and his wife is a typical Italian lady who reminded me of my mother a lot. Giacomo had told me that I look like him, and I have to agree! This couple has hosted thousands of people in his 40-year ministry, and they love Israel.

“We had a four-hour meeting with the group below on Saturday. These people are committed Christians who all feel the need for more from God and were very open to what we shared. We felt the Lord begin to establish a deep, trusting, loving relationship with them. They expressed that they knew that what we shared was from God because they felt and saw we had unity, oneness and respect for each other. This is exactly what we prayed—that they would see our love and oneness with each other, as Jesus prayed in John 17.”

Brother Carl traveled to the town where his grandfather had lived. He noticed an egg-processing plant that had the name “Falco” on it. Brother Carl went in and said, “My grandfather immigrated to America from this town. His name was Falco.” It turned out that the business proprietors, Dario & Maximillian, are his relatives! They had a joyful family reunion and have already made plans to meet again in both Italy and Texas.
Brother Carl said, “I am totally blown away by what transpired today! What an amazing, anointed trip this has been so far!”

The Salmeris will continue to travel in Europe for a few more weeks. Their next stop is the Netherlands. Please pray for God’s covering, strength and anointing to be upon them as they continue to “spread the aroma of life” to everyone they encounter.
