Bearing One Another’s Burdens

A Visit to the Netherlands
This July, Peter and Ruth May and their family, along with Rebekah Brydon, Noah VanNess, and David Wheeler, traveled to the Netherlands. Brother Jez Dumont from South Africa joined them. Their primary mission was to help Brother Maarten and Sister Lobat Kraijenoord and their family to renovate the property that they acquired a year ago.

Brothers Peter, Jez, David, and Noah, with lots of help from the Kraijenoord family, gave the grounds a total overhaul. They weeded, raked, and carted away hundreds of wheelbarrows of weeds and debris.

The brothers painted 15 of the house’s 85 doors.

On Saturdays, the Kraijenoord family brought the whole group on several sightseeing tours.

Sister Ruth wrote, “The house and gardens saw a stunning transformation. And as we worked, ate, played, sang, and prayed together, God has made us all one family. Even though we are thousands of miles from our home, we feel united with these brothers and sisters who are wholeheartedly serving God and seeking to build His kingdom.”
