Bountiful Fruit in Mexico

In 1971, Brother Ricardo Martinez visited Querétaro, Mexico, along with several evangelists from the organization he was part of at the time. They held revival meetings and established the first Oneness Apostolic church in the area. Fifty years later, the Lord led our Mexico community to relocate eight hours from the bustling city of Monterrey to just outside the city of Querétaro, near the small tourist town of Bernal, known as the location of the world’s largest freestanding monolith. Two years after their move, in 2023, Brother Ricardo returned to participate in a revival, joined by other brothers from Texas, to strengthen the Mexico church.
Spring Revival
In April 2024, at Brother Éder’s invitation, Brother Nat Adams visited the Mexico community with a team of brothers from Texas. They spent a week in meetings, revival, and fellowship, savoring the best carne asada tacos along the way!
Each evening in the chapel, God graciously met with them, and many experienced a fresh encounter with His presence. By the end of the week, 22 people were born again in the Spirit. Chains of sin were broken, relationships were restored, and hope was planted in hearts that had been longing for transformation.

In the months following the visit, those seeds of hope and renewal took root in many who walked in obedience to the words God had spoken to them. Six months later, 11 members of the Mexico community expressed their desire to be baptized. Sam Cunningham and Natt Klingensmith traveled to Mexico in October to join Brother Éder for several meetings leading up to the baptism. During one of these gatherings, Brother Éder read from Ezekiel 37 about the valley of dry bones that, as God’s breath blew over them, rose to life as a great army. As he spoke, God’s Spirit swept through the hall, and the congregation rose to their feet, worshipping God and thanking Him for His victories. Remarkably, they later learned that Brother Asi had ministered about the valley of dry bones in Texas on that very same day.
The Mexico community is located near the town of Bernal, Querétaro—a beautiful small town nestled in a semi-desert landscape. It has come to symbolize God’s work in the area: amidst a dry valley, He is pouring out His presence and raising up an army of believers. God’s river of life is beginning to flow from the church, bringing healing to all who hunger and thirst for righteousness. This Sunday, the community gathered in communion, celebrating with joy and experiencing a powerful move of God.
Here are testimonies from two of the eleven individuals baptized this October.
Alhelí Ledezma
"Nineteen years ago, my mother first encountered the Heritage Mexico community during a visit from our small hometown, Pueblo Nuevo. I was 15 when we made the move to join the community. Five years later, in April 2024, my life changed completely when Brother Nat and a group of brothers visited from our community in Texas. During that time, God planted hope in my heart and revealed a new path for my life.
"On October 27 of this year, the old Alheli was gone, and a new one emerged through baptism, with a renewed vision and determination to devote my life to God and His people!
"Now, at 20 years old, I live a full life surrounded by brothers, sisters, and friends who are united in building God’s kingdom together."

Carlos Aguayo
(Baptized at 68 years old)
"My name is Carlos Aguayo Hernández, born in Mexico City in 1956, one of eleven siblings raised by my parents. Like many Mexicans, we were Catholic, and I struggled with illness throughout my childhood.
"In 1988, I married, and my wife and I had two children. After our divorce, however, she moved with the children to the United States. In my sorrow, I began attending a Methodist Church, where I was baptized.
"In August 2016, I moved to Bernal, Querétaro. In 2021, I met Brother Bernardo and his family, and after a few months, I began attending their community services. I also met Brother John Deines and his family during his visit from Texas, and our friendship became a source of strength through difficult times. Once, during a long-distance call, I shared how alone I felt, and he responded, ‘Go outside and look up at the sky and see the infinity of stars. I’m looking up at the same stars from where I am. You are not alone!’ Not long after that, Brother John passed away and is now with his Lord. By faith, I know my dear brother is watching over me from above.
"I’ve received support, fellowship, and discipleship from my brothers here in Bernal and those who have visited from Texas. Through their help, my life has radically changed. The teachings and literature have been fundamental to my spiritual journey, preparing me to be baptized in Jesus' name for the remission of my sins. Now that the old Carlos is gone, a new life has begun, centered on a relationship with Christ. I am no longer in charge of my life; Jesus is, and with the support of my congregation, I hope to serve and live by His Word. As the Psalmist said, ‘Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.’ I want to walk that path until the Most Holy God calls me to His dwelling."

This last Sunday, the Bernal community shared communion—a truly joyous celebration to culminate this season of growth. Please continue to uphold these brothers and sisters in your prayers. The seeds that Brother Ricardo planted over 50 years ago, tended by faithful men like Brother Tsafrir and many others, are beginning to bear fruit—thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold! May it continue unceasingly!
