Creation’s Testimony: The Power of Coming Together

Greetings!

What an extraordinary time to be part of the Church. There’s a tangible sense of anticipation in the air, and we felt it powerfully this past Sunday. Many believe God has granted us a season of peace—perhaps even prosperity—and that we must seize this moment. But not for our own gain. This is a time to build, to strengthen the Kingdom, to prepare the way.

Even now, some of us are flying to London this week to join thought leaders and notable Christians from around the world who are deeply concerned about culture and the direction of society. Thereafter, dozens will be traveling south to minister hope and grace in one part of Mexico, while another team serves alongside our Bernal congregation, bringing the same life and power of the Spirit. We are witnessing firsthand the movement of God’s people across nations, across cultures, across barriers—yet all drawn together by one Spirit, one Lord, one faith.

What excites me most is the vision of an in-gathering—believers across the world gaining sharper spiritual insight, shedding past blindness, and seeing God’s Word come alive with fresh power and promise. Imagine what it will be like as we begin moving toward one another, not under denominational banners, but simply as the Body of Christ—His Church, His Living Temple on the earth. This is precisely what Paul foresaw when he wrote:

“That in the dispensation of the fullness of times, He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth—even in Him” (Eph. 1:10).

I believe this was the dynamic at Pentecost when “they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting” (Acts 2:1–2). The power of the Spirit was catalyzed by unity—by a people willing to come together with a single heart and purpose.

A Divine Pattern in Creation

The principle of unity unleashing power is not just a spiritual truth—it is woven into the very fabric of creation. Scientists have discovered a phenomenon called quorum sensing, a mechanism by which organisms can detect and respond to the presence of their own kind. Certain biological functions—such as movement, communication, and even survival instincts—do not activate until a critical mass has gathered.

One of the most striking examples is found in bioluminescent marine life, particularly a species of bacteria that inhabits the ocean. Individually, these bacteria remain dark, invisible to the eye. But when they reach a certain concentration—when their numbers cross a threshold—they begin emitting light, creating a synchronized glow that illuminates vast portions of the sea. This same phenomenon occurs in bioluminescent plankton and deep-sea fish, whose ability to glow is entirely dependent on the presence of their fellow creatures. Alone, they remain unseen. Together, they become a radiant force.

Similarly, a lone firefly flickers unnoticed, but when many gather, their flashes synchronize into a symphony of light—meant not for isolation, but for brilliance in unity.

The Hidden Communication of Trees—A Living Network

This same dynamic is found in forests. A brother from Minnesota recently shared with me the remarkable ways in which trees communicate and protect one another. Studies have shown that when a section of forest is attacked by pests, the trees under siege release airborne signals—chemical warnings that alert the surrounding trees. These trees, in turn, begin producing defensive compounds, hardening themselves against the impending threat, even though the attack hasn’t reached them yet.

But even more fascinating is the underground network—sometimes called the “Wood Wide Web. Trees are not merely solitary entities; they are part of an interconnected system, linked through vast fungal networks beneath the soil. These fungi act as conduits, transmitting nutrients, information, and even distress signals across great distances. A mother tree, for example, can sense when her saplings are struggling, and can send them carbon and nutrients through these underground pathways to sustain them. The stronger trees bear the burdens of the weaker ones.

How vividly this mirrors the Body of Christ! Scripture tells us, “If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together. Now you are the body of Christ, and individually members of it” (1 Cor. 12:26–27). Just as no tree stands alone, no believer is meant to live in isolation. There is power in connection. Life itself flourishes in the unity of the forest, just as the Church thrives in the unity of the Spirit.

The Church at a Tipping Point

The same principle applies to us as believers. There are movements of God, outpourings of His Spirit, and manifestations of His power that do not happen in isolation. They require a quorum, a threshold of unity, a coming together of His people in faith, prayer, and purpose.

I sense that we are approaching such a moment. God is gathering His people—those who have been faithful in their individual places, quietly laboring, serving, and seeking Him. And now they are being drawn together. When that critical mass is reached, something extraordinary will take place—something that was previously impossible will suddenly become reality.

Scientists have documented what they call collective memory, an unexplained phenomenon where knowledge spreads across a species without direct teaching. In one study, a mouse in the UK cracked a never-before-solved puzzle after countless failed attempts. Then, almost instantly, mice in labs across the world—who had never seen the puzzle solved—began completing it with ease. No genetic link, no shared environment, yet the knowledge seemed to transfer beyond physical boundaries.

If this is true in creation, how much more in the Body of Christ? We are not isolated—we are part of a living, connected Kingdom, where no struggle is wasted and no triumph remains alone.

“His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made” (Rom. 1:20).

Creation itself testifies to the unseen bonds God has ordained and woven into His design, reminding us that in Christ, we are never alone.

A Church Prepared for Glory

Brother Abraham referenced the two witnesses in Sunday’s meeting, and I deeply believe that the Church of the end times—Jew and Gentile together—will experience a power and wisdom unlike anything the world has ever seen. It will be like the days of Moses, Elijah, and the apostles. And yes, it will come with persecution, with the fury of the world and the spiritual forces behind it. But God will lead His people, part the “seas,” and bring us into a promised land—not of new geography, but of unity, trust, and a level of coordination in the Body of Christ that the world has never known.

And this will happen before the Lord returns! As the prophet declared, “At evening time, it will be light” (Zech. 14:7).

I already see it on a small scale—people coming with incredible gifts, testimonies, and wisdom. From Mexico, from Mennonite and Amish communities, from Pentecostals, from India, Egypt, Israel, Africa, China, and beyond. Brothers from house churches. Believers from evangelical, academic, and rural backgrounds. All bring their unique stories, all add to the mosaic of the Body of Christ, growing ever more vivid and defined, its features illuminated with increasing brilliance by His radiance and love.

The call is clear: now is the time to come together, to move beyond what divides and step into what unites. The Spirit is drawing us toward a fellowship so rich, so deep, that the very power of God will be unleashed in ways that we have never seen.

“That they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me” (John 17:21).

"Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your descendants from the east, and gather you from the west; I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’ and to the south, ‘Do not keep them back!’ Bring My sons from afar, and My daughters from the ends of the earth—Everyone who is called by My name, whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him” (Isa. 43:5-7).

Lord, let it be.
