Greetings from Mexico and Argentina

Brother Eric and Sister Kristi Stanton visited the church in Mexico this past week. They had several special meetings where he taught on conviction and responsibility and the need to be ready to give a response for the hope that lies within us, especially focusing on homeschooling and discipling our children.
Brother Eric wrote, “We have had some very powerful meetings here in Mexico. We are encouraged to see the strides our brothers and sisters have taken since last year’s conference and to see the gifts rising up as our people carry a burden for advancing the kingdom of God.”
On Sunday, Brother Eric shared about unity in the Body, and he said, “The anointed responses to the Word of God as people began to seek reconciliation with each other were deeply moving. Our brothers and sisters are preparing for communion in a few weeks. We were also encouraged to meet several new visiting families who are seeking more of God.”
Sister Kristi met with the home schooling moms and young people for several writing workshops.

The Stantons also met a couple in this area who run a successful pottery business and are willing to travel to Argentina to teach their skill to the brothers and sisters there.

The Stantons share this report from Argentina, where they are in regular contact with the brothers and sisters in Bariloche.
When Brother Dan and Brother Eric visited Argentina a few months ago, they met an elderly widow who is selling some property. This past week the woman reached out to Brother Gustavo. He and his wife went to visit and found her ill and very anxious and fearful. Yet after prayer, she fell into a deep peaceful sleep.
As the lady rested, her son arrived to check on her from his home over 20 hours away. He remembered Brother Gustavo and his previous interest in their family’s property. When Brother Gustavo suggested that their family would like to care for his ailing mother, the man said he would consider selling the property at a reduced rate. Whether it works to purchase her land or not, God is reaching out to this woman and extending grace through our community in Bariloche.
Brother Eric and Brother Diego have been in communication with a couple in the province of Buenos Aires, friends of the Russo family. They are asking a lot of questions about community and have expressed the desire to receive the Holy Spirit. They hope to make a trip to Bariloche for worship and teaching when the Stantons visit Argentina at the beginning of November.
Please pray for God to strengthen and build His church in Mexico and in Argentina. Pray that God will bring them into contact with honest and hungry people who are seeking more of Him.
