Greetings from the Netherlands! Brother Randy and Sister Kim Schaefer have been visiting and encouraging our brothers and sisters in the Netherlands for several months. Today they share with us some of what the Lord is doing there.
A year ago our community hosted a conference in the Netherlands. Several brothers and sisters traveled there from our Texas community, and many visitors who sought more from God gathered from all around Europe.
This conference birthed the Heritage Netherlands group—a small band of brothers and sisters. Although they live in different cities, they are striving to come together physically, relationally and spiritually to become a fitly framed piece of the Body of Christ.
Brother Randy wrote, “Since we have been here, we come to know these precious brothers and sisters on a deeper level, and we realize that no matter where God’s people are, we are one Body. The same spiritual blood that flows through our Texas community flows through the Netherlands community.”

Several members of a local home church also attended the Netherlands conference. Afterwards, two families and a single man from that church came to Texas for the 2024 Exodus conference. The Schaefers hosted them, and God began to forge a bond between them all.
Since the Exodus conference, several more families from that group have visited Texas. They are eagerly putting the word of the Lord into practice in their lives and are beginning to see the fruit of their obedience.

Both of these groups are on a journey, seeking to become living stones, part of the Body of Christ.
Sister Lisa Bradford from Texas is currently visiting with the Schaefers. Lisa and Kim have prayed with and encouraged many of the Dutch sisters. Recently they had their first fellowship evening with ladies from both groups. Sister Amanda Lancaster joined on livestream video and shared what a godly woman looks like. They had a blessed time of Q&A and fellowship and are already planning their next gathering for March!

Brother Randy wrote, “I’m amazed—no matter where we are on our journey in the Lord, when we gather together and call on the Lord—He comes to meet with us! We have had powerful meetings where God has spoken His Word to us and poured His Spirit upon us.
“This is our second trip to the Netherlands. When Kim and I were baptized, we would never have believed that God would send us to minister the love of God in the Netherlands.
“The day we were baptized, Brother Zach Herbert asked us if there were any doubts in our minds that this is what the Lord was calling us to do. He asked us to pray and seek the Lord for a word of confirmation. Kim and I began to pray like we never had before.
“God spoke to me the word ‘pioneer’ and convicted us that we were supposed to be baptized that day. We didn’t know what the journey was going to look like or where God might send us, but we were determined to go as pioneers, trusting in God.
“After hearing from the Lord, we hurried to the fellowship hall, our hearts racing in anticipation. Brother Kevin Durkin ministered that in baptism we are committing to be pioneers for the Lord. As he was speaking, Kim and I looked at each other and wept. We had received confirmation that we were in the will of the God.
“Almost 4 years later, here we are, a middle aged couple, over 5,000 miles away from home, sharing with those who hunger for more of the Lord what He has so graciously and lovingly poured into us.
“One of Brother Asi’s weekly emails summed up what we feel here in the Netherlands: ‘The call is clear: now is the time to come together, to move beyond what divides and step into what unites. The Spirit is drawing us toward a fellowship so rich, so deep, that the very power of God will be unleashed in ways that we have never seen.’
“God is on the move in the Netherlands and around the world. There is tangible move of the Spirit here, and we feel blessed to be a part of what the Lord is doing, ‘pioneers’ living on the move for Him.
“We love and miss you all. Thank you for your love and prayers.”
