NJ Drone Mystery Intensifies

Video footage pours in nightly from New Jersey residents concerned about the SUV-size drones flying over their state. Local officials have suggested there have been hundreds of sightings, with one mayor mentioning 180 drones flying over the state.1

According to a Department of Defense statement on Saturday, “Right now, the FBI, DHS, FAA and DOD have been unable to determine who is responsible for flying the drones, and there's no indication that there are adversary nations involved.”2

Without information from the government, speculation has begun to fly, so to speak. Many doubt that the entirety of the Federal government would be unable to figure out the mystery, and suspect they may not be forthcoming with what they know.

New Jersey Representative Van Drew suggested that Iran is sending up these aircraft from a mothership stationed off the coast of New Jersey. Others have suggested that the drones may be part of a training or prototype exercise. There is also conjecture that the drones are searching for a potential threat.

Daniel Penny Acquitted

Twice-deployed Marine Sergeant Daniel Penny has been acquitted for homicide in the controversial death of a deranged New York subway rider who Penny put in a chokehold in May 2023. 4

The subway rider made violent threats against passengers, reportedly making statements such as, “I'm going to kill you;” “I'm prepared to go to jail for life;” “I'm willing to die.”5 He was African-American, while Penny is white, and the death sparked cries of social injustice, with protests pushing NYC DA Alvin Bragg to press charges, and which continued into the trial, with the protesters audible inside the courtroom.

Many considered Penny a hero. After the acquittal, in an interview with Fox News host Jeanine Pirro, Penny said, “The guilt I would've felt if someone did get hurt, if he did do what he was threatening to do, I would never be able to live with myself. I'll take a million court appearances and people calling me names and people hating me just to keep one of those people from getting hurt or killed.”6

Penny attended the Army-Navy game on Saturday as a special guest of Vice-President-elect JD Vance, a former marine himself.

26 Federal Sources in J6 Crowd: A newly released Inspector General report found that 26 confidential informants for the FBI were in the crowd in Washington D.C. on January 6, most of whom engaged in illegal activity during the chaos. At least one was reimbursed for their travel expenses. None were prosecuted. FBI Director Christopher Wray once testified under oath that there were no undercover agents on the ground at the Capitol, apparently bifurcating between an informant and an agent. Wray announced his resignation the day before the IG report dropped.11
UnitedHealthcare CEO Murder Suspect Apprehended: Luigi Mangione has been arrested as a suspect for the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. Mangione was not a customer of UnitedHealth Group, but reportedly suffered serious back pain. On “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” ex-Washington Post reporter Taylor Lorenz said the cold-blooded killing made her feel “joy.”12 And Elizabeth Warren made a case on behalf of the killer, saying, “People can only be pushed so far” before taking justice against corrupt health care companies into their own hands.13
