One Connected Testimony

One Connected Testimony

Dylan and Marieke Kraijenoord, who are originally from the Netherlands, are part of our community in South Africa.

A few months ago, Avidan, a young man from our community in Israel, visited the South Africa fellowship. He received the Holy Spirit there and grew close to Dylan.

Dylan and his family traveled to Israel this month to visit Avidan and the community there. Dylan wrote, “Brother Sheyar took us to Capernaum, where we looked at the steps Jesus walked into the synagogue, and then by the waters of the Sea of Galilee. We look forward to visiting other sites described in the Bible.”

Before their trip, Dylan reached out to Brother Daniel Link, a minister in our Israel community, to tell him when to expect them.

Dylan wrote, “Just before our arrival, Daniel told me he was heading to the Netherlands for a few days. A fellowship family offered to host him, and he participated in their meeting. Only later did he realize he was staying with my parents, Maarten and Lobat, at their new farm!

“This brought an instant connection between us. We shared stories about the Netherlands and how the community started there. And we had lots of stories to share about what God is doing in South Africa, too.

“Although this is our first time to meet many of the families in Israel, we love hearing their stories about how the Lord has guided and is still guiding them. The vulnerability shared in the powerful meetings has strengthened us deeply. We pray our excitement and openness as a family can encourage our brothers and sisters here.

“We are learning that there is nothing about faith or the purposes of God that is introverted. The more we share, the more we realize it’s all one testimony. The same Spirit is at work in many hearts in different locations all over the world.”
